Talking about cool Boler units, our Vintage RV posting from last week (Double-mint Boler unit) prompted J.J. McColm of Central Alberta, the Lloydminister area I believe, to contact us at RVWest.

J.J. was pretty excited because his restored, reto Boler and classic car tow vehicle (that we are affectionately calling the 'Orange Blossom' special) are currently being featured in a new ATB commercial which is playing at Landmark Cinemas.

When we hear more from J.J., we will give readers a bit more background on his 'Orange Blossom' special.

Thanks J.J., your Boler is truly an eye-catching travel unit—we can only imagine all the conversations this colourful Boler unit generates for you.

The Boler ultralight fiberglass trailers—the famous 'egg on wheels'—were invented in Winnepeg, Manitoba. The Boler was manufactured and sold between 1968 and 1988, and approximately 10,000 units were sold.

These little fiberglass trailers have a passionate and devoted following that rivals just about any other enthusiast group.
