Our next issue is focusing on food and we would like your feedback and ideas about when you eat out, and where.

When you are out on the road, how often do you eat out of your RV?  Do you eat out for breakfast? lunch? dinner? or coffee?  Do you wait to go for a special meal, or do you grab something quick on the road?

When you buy your groceries, do you try to go to local markets and buy fresh produce or do you look for a chain grocery store you are familiar with?  If you have a special diet (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.) where do you find the food you need while you are on the road?

Do you look for local food tours?  (you-pick, or winery/brewery tours?) How do you find out about these places?  Do you research on the Internet, look for suggestions from magazines or ask your friends and fellow travellers?

What do you treat yourself to? Do you bring your favourite sweets with you?  Do you bring homemade goodies from your own kitchen, or do you look for some local favourites at fairs—like Nanaimo bars, cinnamon buns or apple pie?

And finally, where is the best place you have ever eaten when you have been on your travels? Why was it so fantastic? Was it something you had never tried before?  Was it cooked in an exceptional way?

Please email us your comments about where you like to eat and what you look for when you shop for your groceries. This will help us create a magazine that will be most helpful you to and your fellow RVers.
