From June 13 to 16th Bike Fest will take over Banff National Park and everyone can take part in the festival fun.

On Saturday, June 15 the Banff Farmers Market comes to Banff Ave for one day only. Kids can take part in the Balkan Restaurant Little Crits fun ride and later adults can don their wackiest costumes during Cruise for a Cause.

For those looking for a longer ride, head down the Bow Valley Parkway to Castle Mountain Chalets on Saturday for a fundraising barbecue, or cycle to the Cave and Basin on Sunday and relax in the new picnic area.

But the main event really centers around a four-day, five-stage competition featuring 500 cyclists vying for $21,000 prize money.

Whether you're an avid biker or a casual cruiser there will be plenty to enjoy during Banff National Park Bike Fest.
