2018 Ontario’s Choice Award Winners Announced

Toronto, Ontario – On October 10, 2018, the winners of Attractions Ontario’s Third Annual Ontario’s Choice Awards were announced. The winners of each category earned the most votes in their designated category, voted on and chosen by consumers.

Top Family Entertainment Centre - Skyzone Toronto

Top Outdoor Attraction - African Lion Safari, Cambridge

Top Performing Arts - Oh, Canada Eh? Dinner & Show, Niagara Falls

Top Indoor Attraction - Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Toronto

Top Touring Experience - Eco Adventure Tour at Scenic Caves Nature Adventures, Collingwood 

Top Small Museum/Art Gallery/Historic Site - Lang Pioneer Village, Keene

Top Museum/Art Gallery/Historic Site - Casa Loma, Toronto 

Top Festival & Event - Winter Festival of Lights, Niagara Falls

The three attractions that received the most votes across all categories are eligible for the Attraction of the Year Award. The winner of this award will be revealed on October 24, 2018 at the Ontario Tourism Summit in Windsor.

  • Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Attractions Ontario is a non-profit association, dedicated solely to optimizing attendance for its member attractions. As the only province-wide trade association dedicated exclusively to the attractions sector of the tourism industry, Attractions Ontario members encompass over 500 public and privately owned attractions in numerous categories such as amusement parks, historical sites, cultural activities, arts and entertainment, and adventure tourism.
