The Wild Mountain Music Festival (WMMF) is a three-day outdoor music festival held in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains just outside Hinton, Alberta at Entrance Ranch—one of the region’s scenic open-air festival sites. The event blends live music with a laid-back camping experience, featuring rock, folk, indie, country, and blues artists alongside food vendors, craft booths, and family-friendly programming like a dedicated kids area.

Since its launch in 2008, WMMF has grown into a well-loved summer destination that draws music fans from across Western Canada for a weekend of live performances, community atmosphere, and mountain scenery.

Festival-goers can camp on-site with their weekend pass, with rustic, first-come camping, no hookups, and a focus on low-impact, “pack it in, pack it out” camping practices. The site also includes amenities like a beer garden, general store, shuttle service from Hinton, and a full schedule of gate hours across the weekend.
