Palm Canyon Drive, in the heart of Palm Springs, is the place to be on Thursday nights. Tall palm trees shade this popular street, as locals and visitors come together for a vibrant street fair. Various ethnic foods, olive oil, salsa, a farmers market, music and talented artisans are all part of the experience—and every so often VillageFest offers a special event.

“VillageFest is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city of Palm Springs,” said Amy Blaisdell, communications director for the City of Palm Springs. “It is a weekly festival every Thursday night that features a host of handcrafted items and great food.”

Not far from Palm Springs are the wineries in Temecula, so why not top off a day of wine tasting with an evening at VillageFest to sample some great food.

“What could be more fun than strolling along under the stars on Palm Canyon Drive,” said Blaisdell.
