Here’s a nice story of an RV dealer reaching out to help local charities by creating events that give back to the community.

Southside Dodge and RV Centre, based in Red Deer, Alberta, has a rich history of giving back to their local community in a number of generous ways. Whether it’s through the United Way, the Ronald McDonald House, Aspire Special Needs Services Resource Centre, or other community agencies, Southside is constantly looking for new ways to give back.

On Friday April 21, Southside RV is hosting a special BBQ at its facility in support of the Red Deer Foodbank. This initiative is part of a year-round partnership Southside has formed with the Foodbank in an effort to help all those affected by Alberta’s downturn.

In addition to this event, Southside is developing a wide range of community programs which will ultimately include several partners.

Michael Thibeau, marketing manager of the dealership, says Southside Dodge and RV Centre encourages charitable organizations to look him up to see if they just might be a good fit.

Don’t miss their special BBQ this Friday in support of the Red Deer Foodbank.
