"Grand Forks is a great place to camp and explore. The Municipal Campground is a central and very popular RV site adjacent to the Kettle River. There are many other spots to camp also. On June 24, 2017 Gallery 2 is hosting their Garden Tour. What a wonderful way to spend a weekend, camping and having the opportunity to peek into some of the private sanctuaries of local green thumbs and gardening afficienados. Carla Rogoza, her husband and four-year-old daughter spent a week travelling from their home in Smoky Lake, Alberta, to Fairmont Hot Springs. They spent four days enjoying the hot pools and exploring the area, including Premier Lake and the beach and farmers’ market in Invermere, B.C. They also spent a night at the Lake Louise Trailer Campground.
