Why is the Calaway RV Park an ideal place to take your family camping?

The Calaway RV Park and Campground is located directly next to Calaway Park—Western Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement park. It is a family-friendly environment all around. Families can walk to the amusement park from their campsite. Not only does this make for a unique, fun-filled camping experiencing, it also creates flexibility for parents who can bring kids back to the campsite mid-day for lunch or naptime.

What are some of the most popular campsite features?

We have several different features that are popular depending on what our guests are looking for. We have coin-operated laundry facilities for guests needing to do a quick load of laundry. The Campground General Store is stocked with helpful convenience items. During the Calgary Stampede, we run a Stampede shuttle to and from the Stampede grounds. Finally, the Calaway RV Park and Campground is located next to TransCanada Highway, making it easy to do day trips to Banff and the Rocky Mountains, or visit other attractions and experiences within the Calgary area.

Do you have space for larger RV units?

The Calaway RV Park and Campground can comfortably accommodate a 40-foot unit.

Is the RV park pet-friendly?

Pets are welcome. They need to be leashed and quiet at all times and they cannot be left unattended at your site. Day kennel services are available at Calaway Park for a small fee.

Do you have any tips or recommendations for getting the most out of a visit to your park?

We recommend that you book early, especially if you are looking to visit during the Calgary Stampede. Due to the location of the Calaway RV Park and Campground, plan to use us as your hub spot for your vacation. Why pack up and move every few nights when you can easily access all the Calgary area has to offer from one central location?
