The fair is alive with family values
Come one, come all, to the Curry County Fair in Gold Beach, Oregon. The fair is an annual four-day event being held from July 17 to 20, and it provides an array of entertainment for any age group.

Ron Crook, event centre manager, said there will be a parade, a carnival, livestock auctions, a battle of the bands competition, a talent show, and science, sewing and gardening exhibits put on by 4-H students.
“The fairs are a real piece of Americana, and they need to change with the times,” Crook said. “There are all of these new interests and hobbies included, but we still retain some of the old historic values and exhibits.”
Ken and Vicki Miller, who travelled to every county fair in Oregon in 2000, found Gold Beach very welcoming and said the Curry County Fair was a wonderful family event.
