With the crystal clear Klondike River meandering through it, the Klondike region is attractive to tourists. The area is popular among those with an interest in gold rush history, or even just those with a desire to get out in the wilderness and see what Mother Nature has to offer. In addition to natural wonders, the Klondike region also has lively communities and entertaining attractions.

Snowbirds go north

Last summer, longtime snowbirds Cal Wilson and Lynn Dent-Wilson travelled through northern B.C. to Yukon and Alaska to visit old stomping grounds and soak up some history.
