In 10 years, High River Autoplex & RV has become an RV powerhouse
It may be surprising to some, but one of Western Canada’s biggest and busiest RV dealerships is located just 20 minutes south of Calgary in High River, Alberta. High River Autoplex & RV, which is right beside busy Highway 2, is owned and operated by Doug McLaughlin.

This state-of-the-art RV dealership is nothing short of spectacular. The 40,000- plus-square-foot facility is situated on eight spacious acres, allowing High River Autoplex & RV to display—both inside and out—a tremendous selection of motorhomes, mini motorhomes, fifth wheels, toy haulers and towables.
In August 2008, High River Autoplex & RV celebrated its 10th anniversary and its second full year in a new state-of-the-art facility.
“We started from humble beginnings as a car, truck and RV dealership and have seen our business grow and expand rapidly,” said McLaughlin. “Our new 40,000-square- foot facility was completed in January 2007. It not only features a spacious showroom as well as a huge parts and accessories department but we have 16 service bays to look after our RV customers’ needs.”
As well, McLaughlin is proud of the service that the staff provide.
“Our team of over 50 employees caters to every RVer’s want and need,” he said. “It is our goal to make the RV-buying experience a very pleasant and mutually beneficial one. When making a major purchase like an RV, customers deserve to be treated with respect and be assured that after-sales service is as important as selling the unit initially. Our business has grown based on our beyond-the-ordinary customer service.”
High River Autoplex & RV is pleased to offer some of the best names in the RV business, including outstanding motorhomes by Monaco Corporation (such as Holiday Rambler), toy haulers and towables from Forest River, trailers from McKenzie and all-purpose utility trailers from Agassiz.
High River Autoplex & RV has a service department second to none. The service facility includes 16 full-size service bays and one of the few full-size RV hoists designed to lift the largest motorhomes. This allows service personnel easy access to even the most difficult areas of an RV with ease and in a time-saving manner, thus cutting down on the time a customer’s RV unit is in the shop.
High River Autoplex & RV also has a complete marine division for watersports enthusiasts. It is one of the busiest Rinker boat dealers in Alberta, with a wide selection of bowriders, sport boats and deck boats to choose from. In addition, High River Autoplex & RV carries top-quality name brands, including Polar Craft and Atlantic Boats Ltd.
