Admiring a masterpiece

This unit caught our eye, for good reason

Published April 2010

We here at RVwest always have our eyes peeled for vintage RV units. Quite honestly, it’s impressive to see how many older units are still on the road or can be found in campsites throughout the West.

One unit that recently caught our eye was the 1976 Triple E 2300 Class A motorhome of Jerry Andrews of Cranbrook.

Jerry was kind enough to give us a tour of his motorhome. He said we stopped by in just the nick of time because his son from Medicine Hat was coming next week to move the Triple E back to the Hat.

Andrews’ 1976 Triple E is in near showroom condition and only has 58,000 miles on it. It runs like a new unit and is finished in light oak paneling. Though not the original owner of the Triple E 2300, Jerry Andrews said they have enjoyed numerous vacations with the unit and that it is very solidly build with steel frame construction.
