Meeting customer demands
Keystone RV expands Outback production facilities to meet customer demand

Keystone RV announces a major expansion of its popular Outback and Outback Sydney Edition brand of travel trailers and fifth wheels manufactured at its facility in Goshen, Indiana.

Sales of these recreational vehicles have continued to grow over the past five years. Due to increased demand, Keystone RV is expanding its Outback product line to include a larger variety of floor plans and features to meet customers’ needs. The company is building additional manufacturing space to produce the expanded line.

“The Outback and the Outback Sydney Edition have been very popular in the mainstream market. To continue to meet our customers’ needs, we are expanding our product line to offer greater diversity and more innovative features,” said product manager Tim Domiano. “Outback offers a very high quality unit with lots of high-end features at a very reasonable price, giving-our customers a very good value for their money.”

The Outback brand has such a loyal following that Outback owners have formed their own, non-company sponsored Outback Owners Club that holds regular rallies and events throughout the year.

Featuring aluminum frames and laminated fiberglass exteriors, the Outback is currently available in 11 travel trailer models ranging from 19 feet to 30 feet in length. The Outback Sydney Edition is available in four travel trailer models and five fifth wheel models ranging in length from 30 to 34 feet. The product expansion will increase the number of models available in addition to new standard and option features.

Keystone RV Company is the nation’s largest producer of travel trailers and fifth wheels with manufacturing facilities at its headquarters in Goshen, Indiana, as well as Pendleton, Oregon. Keystone is a subsidiary of Thor Industries of Jackson Center, Ohio, the world’s largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles and a major builder of commercial buses.
