Every year in mid-March, thousands of RVers flock to Chilliwack Heritage Park to attend B.C.’s largest indoor RV show and sale—the Chilliwack Humdinger RV Extravaganza. Boasting 150,000 square feet of showroom space, this event showcases every aspect of the RV lifestyle.

“The show offers so many different varieties of equipment,” said general manager Rick Przybysz. “Our inventory goes right from park models to tent trailers.”

Factory reps and dealers will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the latest technology. And financing is available for attendees who want to purchase a rig right at the show. In addition to new RVs, Przybysz is excited to have a lineup of custom heavy-duty RV trucks at this year’s Humdinger.

With the largest collection of RV retailers under one roof, there will be tons of incredible deals on products and accessories. An increased number of destination booths will provide showgoers with lots of travel ideas and tourist information. The theme for 2008 centres on the history of RVing, and a number of vintage models will be on display in a campground exhibit.

According to Przybysz, there is so much to see at the Humdinger that attendees typically spend between four and five hours there.

“We try to be more creative with each show and that’s why so many people return each year,” he said. “We have so many people complimenting the Humdinger because it’s not like any other RV show.”

Starting in late February, Przybysz and technical manager Stan Nelson will be travelling around the Lower Mainland and central B.C. with the “dinger mobile” to promote the seventh annual Chilliwack Humdinger RV Extravaganza—to be held March 13 to 16, 2008.
