DuneFest in Winchester Bay, Oregon, is the place to go if you want to play in the sand.

The Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual DuneFest. The fun will take place from July 30 to August 3, 2014.

Every day will be packed with events that the whole family can enjoy. There will be sand drags for all ages, a charity auction, OEM demo track area, UTV/ATV tug of war, freestyle shows, a treasure hunt and many more events. The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down, as there will be live concerts and night rides. 

Even if you don't have your own ATV, there will be numerous vendors available so you can rent one and get in on the fun. Soon you will be exploring the dunes like an expert.
Winchester Bay prides itself on being the the ATV dune buggy capital of the Pacific coast.
