As the valley’s second largest city, Cathedral City is a hub for business and entertainment. Its beautiful downtown core features national retail stores, an IMAX theatre and exciting new architecture. Sports fans will want to check out the nostalgic replicas of Wrigley Field, Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium at Big League Dreams Sports Park.
For a hot time, travellers can head to Desert Hot Springs. As the name suggests, this scenic city is home to world-class hot spring resorts. After soaking in the natural mineral water, visitors can check out the Old Indian Pueblo. This Hopi Indian-style building towers four storeys high and has 150 windows and 65 doors.
Coachella, the City of Eternal Sunshine, is located in a rich agricultural area that has been known to produce some of California’s largest grape, lemon and avocado crops. Visitors can learn more about the land and farming practices by touring one of the local fruit farms.
