The trails around West Vancouver provide plentiful hiking opportunities - ranging from brief strolls to challenging climbs.

If you’d like to go on a gentle hike or a bike ride, try the Spirit Trail. This flat, easy route is part of a project that aims to connect Horseshoe Bay to North Vancouver. It is ideal for people of all ages and abilities, and as such, it is accessible via all modes of self-propelled transport (including wheeled mobility aids).

Another easy trail is the Seaview Walk. It has an entrance across from Gleneagles Golf Course, and a second entrance can be found via a steeper access trail off Cranley Drive at Nelson Creek. The Seaview Walk offers even terrain and wheelchair access, with spectacular views of Burrard Inlet and Fishermans Cove.

For a more moderate trek, you can head to the Millstream Trail, which can either be accessed from the junction of Eyremount and Chartwell roads, or via the second switchback on the Cypress Bowl Parkway. If you'd like to explore farther, you can continue on to the Brothers Creek Trail, Old Brewis Trail or the Lawson Creek Forestry Heritage Walk - all of which are connected to Millstream Trail.

These are just a few of the many popular trails around West Vancouver. To read about more hiking routes, visit this page.
