RV Destination Discovery: May is for Marathons, Museums and Live Music in Costa Mesa
COSTA MESA, Calif. — Each year, the OC Marathon takes place in the month of May with a scenic run along coastal Orange County and concludes at the OC Fair & Event Center finish line party in Costa Mesa with live music, food and drinks. This family event draws runners of all levels from more than 40 states and 20 countries. In 2018, more than 10,000 men and women participated in the 5K, 1/2- or full-marathon or the "combo crush" (for completing two of the three races). In addition, nearly 10,000 elementary-age students participated in Kids Run the OC, the largest kids' run in the country – representing 150 local schools. There is still time to sign up for the 15th OC Marathon, May 3-5, 2019.
