1) More than just a museum

In addition to housing local art and cultural exhibits, the Mesa Arts Center hosts captivating entertainment, including live performances by popular musicians, professional dancers and theatrical groups.

2) Pack up the kids

For the young, and the young-at-heart, Amazing Jakes is a fun place to be. This restaurant offers access to on-site activities, including a glow bowling alley, indoor go-kart track, kiddie rides and more than 150 video games.

3) Moove along

Superstition Farm is an integral part of any family trip to Mesa. This dairy farm offers tours by appointment, and the opportunity to hand-feed and pet a variety of barnyard animals. Stop by on Thursday evenings to shop at a farm-fresh local market and take advantage of the food tasting, hay rides and free admission to the petting zoo.

4) A history lesson

The Mesa Historical Museum covers a wide array of history, from the evolution of Mesa throughout history, to the Cactus League baseball heritage. The collections and exhibits change regularly, so there is always something new to see.

5) Catch some dinner theatre
