On May 1st, Driving Force Vehicle Rentals, Sales and Leasing sent two young travellers on the journey of a lifetime. Nicole Baker and Ashley Parsons set out with GoPro cameras and cellphones in a 2017 Ford F-150 crew cab pickup. Their mission: to explore Canad on a two-month excursion, documenting all the amazing things they see along the way. They will be sharing video and photos of their adventures via social media while raising money to support the Ronald McDonald House program.

You can track the tour by using the hashtag #DFTour150 or visiting the website at www.dftour150.ca. An article by Robert Daly included further details:

A scalable map on the website indicates the pair’s movements hourly, and those in a competitive frame of mind can snap a picture of the truck as it passes through their community. Uploading the picture could win contest participants a 2017 Ford F-150 or tickets anywhere in Canada WestJet flies.

“Our slogan is ‘It’s All About the Experience’ – and experiences don’t get much bigger than a road trip across Canada,” said Mark Nolin, the President and CEO of DRIVING FORCE Vehicle Rentals, Sales and Leasing. The company has 28 locations across the country, and the DFTour 150 team will visit celebrations at each one – with proceeds going to local Ronald McDonald House projects.

“You only get to observe an important date like Canada’s 150th anniversary once – so DRIVING FORCE is proud to invite everyone along for the ride,” said Nolin. “Let’s see our country together, Canada!”

DF Tour is currently in Manitoba, and will continue on to Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon and eventually B.C. to attend a wrap-up party June 30.
